About Rivier College

Rivier College is a Catholic liberal arts college located in Nashua, which is a city in the New Hampshire state, USA, in Hillsborough County, with a population of more than 87 000 inhabitants (2009), which makes it the 2nd largest city in the state, the largest one being Manchester.

Rivier was established in 1933 and was named in honor of Anne Marie Rivier, foundress of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary (which founded the college). It was originally located in Hudson, NH, and was moved to its present location in 1941. It currently offers its students more than 60 undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate degrees.

Athletics

Rivier's athletic teams are known as the Raiders and they compete in NCAA Division III. Their distinctive colors are blue and white.
